Where will my food come from?
We work with farmers right here in Northeast Florida, South Georgia up to North Carolina so that we can offer a wide variety of locally grown produce. During the summer months some items will be sourced more regionally from other local families due to lack of variety locally. We do not source fruits and vegetables from any large farm or local farm commercial crops that are mass producing crops. We first source from a 150 mile radius then through out the state of Florida, South Georgia within a 300 mile radius. We source from other family farms in our region to offer variety to our members.
What if I'm not home during my delivery times?
If you are not going to be home we recommend leaving a cooler with ice/icepacks where we can place your perishable items. We do our best to place your Farm Bag in the shadiest spot on your front porch.
What areas does Local Fare Jax deliver to?
We currently deliver to the greater Jacksonville area including all of Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, Parts of Saint Johns County, Orange Park, Oakleaf, Fleming Island, Middleburg, Yulee, Fernandina Beach, Green Cove Springs, Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, and Neptune Beach.

Can I skip a delivery?
Yes, we are happy to put your order on hold or skip the upcoming week. Simply login and add a hold under the My Subscription tab. If you miss the window, just contact us the Monday before your delivery and we will get it taken care of for you.
Can I change my bag size or the frequency of my deliveries?
Yes, simply log in to your account and adjust your bag size and frequency under the My Subscription tab.
Is bread included in the Local Fare Jax farm bag?
We deliver fresh baked bread from The French Pantry or Village Bread Company. These are automatically included in our Standard and Large Farm Bags, and you can customize if you wish to add it to your Basic Farm Bag.
How will I be billed?
Your account gets charged on the Monday of your scheduled delivery. For example: If your scheduled delivery is set for Friday January 9th your account gets charged on Monday January 4th.
What days and times does Local Fare Jax deliver?
We deliver on either Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday depending on what part of town you are in. All deliveries are made between 7 am and 7 pm.

Does Local Fare Jax source fruits and vegetables from Mexico, California or the mid west?
Local Fare Jax exclusively sources fruits and vegetables directly from local producers (family farms) during their respective seasons. We prioritize freshness ensuring that only the finest produce makes it to your doorstep from local farms. If produce is out of season, we refrain from purchasing from non-local sources, maintaining our commitment to supporting our community and offering the best in-season selections
Do you deliver to businesses or gated communities?
What are your delivery schedules?
We deliver once a week or bi-weekly (once every two weeks).
What if I know I never want to receive a certain item?
No problem! Just let us know and we will never deliver that item to you, we’ll add it to your “Never List” and replace it with something else instead.
How do I add on items?
We have an online Members-Only Store where you will be able to add on other locally sourced items like Grass-fed Beef, Free Range Poultry, Pastured Eggs, Raw Honey, Cream Top Milk, Handcrafted Cheese, Jams and more. You can add on any of these items as often as you like. Please be sure to get your orders in by Monday 12pm before your delivery.
Do I return my empty bag?
What if I have a quality issue with something I receive?
We work hard to deliver the freshest produce possible, but if you have any issues, please let us know as soon as you receive your bag. That way, we can make it right as soon as possible. We recommend giving your items a quick check when your delivery arrives so we can help right away if needed.
