How to Make changes to your Order
Where will my food come from?
We work with farmers right here in Northeast Florida and South Georgia so that we can offer a wide variety of locally grown produce. During the summer months some items will be sourced more regionally due to lack of variety locally. We do not work with any large farms that are mass producing crops and pumping the fields full of chemicals.
What about the bread?
Some packages include bread freshly baked the day of your delivery from The French Pantry.
What areas do you deliver to?
We currently deliver to the greater Jacksonville area including including all of Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, Saint Johns, Orange Park, Oakleaf, Fleming Island, Middleburg, Green Cove Springs, Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach and Neptune Beach. We have a wait list for Fernadina and Keystone Heights.
What days and times do you deliver?
We deliver on either Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday depending on what part of town you are in. All deliveries are made between 10 am and 7 pm. Please let us know if you are in an office that closes earlier and we can make arrangements.
What if I'm not home during those times?
No worries. If you are not going to be home we recommend leaving a cooler with ice/icepacks where we can place your perishable items.
Do you deliver to businesses or gated communities?
Yes, if you live in a gated community or a hard to access business please let the guards know or give us special instructions for entering when you create your account.
Can I skip a delivery?
Yes, we ask that if you are going to skip a delivery to let us know by Monday 12:00pm before so that we do not get your produce harvested on Tuesday.
Can I change my bag size or the frequency of my deliveries?
Yes, simply just log in to your account to make changes.
What are your delivery schedules?
We deliver weekly, bi-weekly, every 3 weeks or once a month.
How do I know what will be in my order?
Every Sunday we update our website with a sourcing list letting you know what is coming in that weeks bag. This information is found on the “This Week” page.
Can I customize my order?
If you see something on the list you would like replaced just log in to your account and swap it out. We have a minimum of 16 items to choose from each week. Or you can also send us an email at EatLocal@LocalFareJax.com and we will take care of it for you at no additional charge.
What if I know I never want to receive a certain item?
No problem let us know when you sign up and we will never deliver that item to you but will replace it with something else instead.
Are there recipes?
Yes, we will post an online printable newsletter on our “This Week” page. Here you will find a detailed list of what is included in your delivery along with 3-4 recipes showcasing that weeks ingredients.
How do I add on items?
We have an online Farm Stand where you will be able to add on other locally sourced items like Grass-fed Beef, Free Range Poultry, Pastured Eggs, Raw Honey, Cream Top Milk, Handcrafted Cheese, Jams and more. You can add on any of these items as often as you like. Please be sure to get your orders in by the end of the day on the Monday before your delivery.
How will I be billed?
You will not be charged for your bag until it is delivered. All you have to do is put a card or bank account on file that will not be charged until the morning after your bag is received.
How fresh will my items be?
All produce will be harvested locally within 24 – 48 hours of being delivered.
Do I return my empty bag?
Yes, we issue everyone re-usable bags and ask that they are returned on your next delivery. Just leave them out at the front door if you will not be home.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes, we currently will reward anyone who refers someone a $5.00 credit to their account.
What if I have a quality issue with something I receive?
Don’t hesitate to let us know so that we can make it right. We will never question you and always make it up to you in some way or another.
