How do I customize my farm bag order?

Where will my food come from?

We work with farmers right here in Northeast Florida and South Georgia so that we can offer a wide variety of locally grown produce. During the summer months some items will be sourced more regionally from other local families due to lack of variety locally. We do not source fruits and veggetables from any large farm or local farm commercial crops that are mass producing crops.

Is bread included in the Local Fare Jax farm bag?

Some packages include freshly baked bread from The French Pantry or Village Bread Company.

What areas do you deliver to?

We currently deliver to the greater Jacksonville area including all of Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, Saint Johns, Orange Park, Oakleaf, Fleming Island, Middleburg, Yulee, Fernandina Beach, Green Cove Springs, Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, and Neptune Beach. 

What days and times do you deliver?

We deliver on either Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday depending on what part of town you are in. All deliveries are made between 8 am and 7 pm. Please let us know if you are in an office that closes earlier and we can make arrangements.

What if I'm not home during those times?
No worries. If you are not going to be home we recommend leaving a cooler with ice/icepacks where we can place your perishable items.
Do you deliver to businesses or gated communities?
Yes, if you live in a gated community or a hard to access business please let the guards know or give us special instructions for entering when you create your account.
Can I skip a delivery?

Yes. All we require is to let us know 2 weeks in advance and we will schedule the hold on your account. 

Can I change my bag size or the frequency of my deliveries?
Yes, simply just log in to your account to make changes.
What are your delivery schedules?

We deliver weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly.

What if I know I never want to receive a certain item?
No problem let us know when you sign up and we will never deliver that item to you but will replace it with something else instead.
How do I add on items?

We have an online Farm Stand where you will be able to add on other locally sourced items like Grass-fed Beef, Free Range Poultry, Pastured Eggs, Raw Honey, Cream Top Milk, Handcrafted Cheese, Jams and more. You can add on any of these items as often as you like. Please be sure to get your orders in by Monday 12pm before your delivery.

How will I be billed?

Your account gets charged on the Monday of your scheduled delivery. Example: If your scheduled delivery is set for Friday January 9th your account gets charged on Monday January 4th.

Do I return my empty bag?
Yes, we issue everyone re-usable bags and ask that they are returned on your next delivery. Just leave them out at the front door if you will not be home.
Does Local Fare Jax source fruits and vegetables from Mexico, California or the mid west?

Local Fare Jax exclusively sources fruits and vegetables directly from local producers (family farms) during their respective seasons. We prioritize freshness ensuring that only the finest produce makes it to your doorstep from local farms. If produce is out of season, we refrain from purchasing from non-local sources, maintaining our commitment to supporting our community and offering the best in-season selections

What if I have a quality issue with something I receive?
Don’t hesitate to let us know so that we can make it right. We will never question you and always make it up to you in some way or another.
